Vintage Day new beginning

Just one call and the question "Can you help us?" and I was returned back to the world I love. A bit of effort and logistics and we ended up with a wonderful day spent collaborating with the incredible team and my return to the vintage world.

Samo jedan poziv i pitanje “Da li bi nam mogla pomoći?”, vratilo me nazad u moj svijet koji volim. Malo truda i logistike i iza nas je proveden predivan dan u suradnji sa super ekipom i moj povratak u vintage svijet.

On 3 June 2018, we returned to the 1950s in the Atrium of the County palace in Varaždin. At the center of the event were oldtimer bikes, the so-called "Specijalke" (Special bikes) and a drive called "Varazdiensia 1895," which was named in honor of the first Croatian cycling race in Croatia, which was held in Varaždin. For this occasion, Specijalke were also given new license plates, small artworks by Nedjeljko Krčar, who besides the license plates was in charge of other visuals.

03.06.2018. u Atriju Županijske palače u Varaždinu vratili smo se u pedesete godine prošlog stoljeća. U središtu događaja bili su oldtimer bicikli tvz. Specijalke i vožnja pod nazivom „Varazdiensia 1895“, koja je dobila ime u čast 1. međunarodne utrke biciklista u Hrvatskoj, a koja se održala upravo u Varaždinu. Specijalke su za tu priliku dobile i nove tablice, mala umjetnička djela autora Nedjeljka Krčara koji je osim za tablice bio zadužen i za ostale vizuale.

I dressed the girls in my own dresses, Mirela Magdić was in charge of the makeup, a make-up artist and a long-time theatrical makeup artist, while Michael Matulić from the Maat hairdresser's salon was in charge of the hairstyles. I had the opportunity to showcase the rest of the dresses and my little vintage treasure displayed as a decoration.

Ja sam obukla cure u svoje haljine, za šminku je bila zadužena  Mirela Magdić, make up artist i dugogodišnja kazališna šminkerica, za frizure  Michael Matulić iz frizerskog salona Maat. Ostatak haljina i mog malog vintage blaga imala sam priliku pokazati svima izloženo kao dekoraciju.

I think the photos speak louder than words, and that you can notice how much I enjoyed it. I hope that in the second year, the Vintage day will be accompanied by music and dance into the late evening hours.

Mislim da fotke govore više od riječi, i da se vidi da sam ja iskreno uživala. Nadam se da će druge godine Vintage dan uz muziku i ples potrajati do kasnih večernjih sati.
